What is a Christmas mini session?

A Christmas mini session is a short, focused photoshoot in a styled festive set. Instead of a long session, you get a set time slot, a ready-made Christmas backdrop and a small number of beautifully edited photos. It is popular with families, couples, siblings and parents with babies because it is quick, relaxed and the setup is already done for you.

Where in London can you book Christmas mini sessions?

Christmas mini sessions in London are usually run by individual photographers in studios across the city, and dates sell out quickly in November and early December. When you choose, check four things: the exact location and how easy it is to get there, the session length, how many edited images are included, and when you receive your gallery.

My Christmas photoshoots 2026 take place at Stratford Workshops, Burford Rd, London E15 2SP. That is Stratford, East London, right next to Westfield, so it is easy to reach for families coming from across London.

Christmas mini sessions 2026 with Alexandru Lucian

Dates: 15, 21, 28 and 29 November 2026. Only 45 sessions are available this year.

Each session includes a 30-minute professional session, 10 beautifully edited images, a private online gallery to choose your favourites, family, children, sibling and individual photos, and full guidance and posing throughout.

Price: £220. An £80 deposit secures your spot and the remaining £140 is paid on the day. Optional extras: extra images at £20 each, or a 15 to 20 second social media video for £40.

Can babies and young children come?

Yes. Babies from two months are welcome, and the session is relaxed and guided so children can be themselves. Your edited gallery is ready within five working days.

What to wear for Christmas photos
